Hoback was raised in a small town outside of Atlanta, Georgia where she loved to watch her brothers artistic endeavors, and soon began to paint alongside him. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from The Atlanta College of Art and immediately began a career in graphic design for large corporations. When she started her own family, she left the corporate world to focus on being a mother. Having three girls inspired Hoback to create richly textured and embellished paintings for children.
