About the Artist: See More by Kristina Bass Bailey Kristina Bass Bailey was raised in Macon, Georgia where she obtained her first job as an artist at the age of 16 painting signs for her local grocery store. She received her BFA in Fabric Design from the University of Georgia and later interned in NYC in the textile and fashion industry dying fabrics and embellishing clothing surfaces, an experience that later influenced her painting. An opportunity with a fashion accessories firm landed her and her husband back home in Georgia. She draws from past experiences by embellishing her canvases with paper, paint, yarn, and fabric.
