Keep out of reach of small children. Decorative embellishments may become choking hazards if removed from hanger. Pillows Do not place any pillow in a crib or in a bassinet with an infant. Our pillows are intended for decorative purposes only. For more information visit www.cpsc.gov or call 1-800-638-2772. - Place baby on his/her back on a firm tight fitting mattress in a crib that meets current safety standards.
- Remove pillows, quilts comforters, sheepskins, pillow-like stuffed toys, and other soft products from the crib.
- Remove all soft bedding from the crib.
- Consider using a sleeper or other sleep clothing as an alternative to blankets, with no other covering.
- If using a blanket, put baby with feet at the foot of the crib. Tuck a thin blanket around the crib mattress, reaching only as far as the baby?s chest.
- Make sure that your baby?s head remains uncovered during sleep.
- Do not place baby on a waterbed, sofa, soft mattress, pillow, or other soft surface.
- Use only a fitted bottom sheet made specifically for crib use.
- Make sure that the crib sheet fits snugly on a crib mattress and overlaps the mattress so it cannot be dislodged by pulling on the corner of the sheet.
- Never use a crib sheet unless it fits securely on a crib mattress.
- Never use an adult sheet on a crib mattress, it can become loose and present an entanglement hazard to young children.

- Select bumper pads that fit around entire crib and tie or snap securely into place.
- Use bumper pads until the child can pull up to a standing position. Then remove them so baby cannot use the pads to climb out of the crib.
- Never use plastic shipping bag or other plastic film as mattress cover. A baby should never be allowed to lie or sleep face down on, or next to pillows, cushions, comforters, or adult waterbeds.
- Do not overdress your baby. Consider using a sleeper or other sleep clothing as an alternative to any covering.
